There is a primary factor that influenced my decision to select the beauty brand OPI: the goal of expanding its audience and appealing to a much broader range of individuals. Presently, OPI's current branding primarily targets an older demographic, with packaging, design, and overall appeal that feel outdated.
Considering OPI's commendable history of fundraising and promoting charitable causes, my intention was not to diminish the brand's positive reputation. Rather, I aimed to highlight its longstanding commitment to quality and genuine intentions. To achieve this, I made deliberate choices regarding fonts, colors, and overall design, with the objective of giving OPI a fresh and contemporary look, capable of resonating with people of all ages.
